Trim / emblem colors?

Is there a reference chart available that shows what the original colors were for the add-on emblems? I have that "360 4 Wheel Drive" emblem on the sides of the front fenders. Also, there are two metal (aluminum?) emblems on the tailgate: the "Wagoneer" logo in the backslant script (that looks like it never was painted) and the "American Motors" emblem the has a ghosted hint that it was painted.

I pulled off the front turn signal marker metal and taped and repainted the flat-black striping... looks sharp. Now I have to drill out the screws that hold in the grille and repaint that. There's also that funky metal speaker-grille-looking thing on the dashboard that has the American Motors logo on it. Odd, there are THREE DISTINCLY DIFFERENT LOOKING JEEP LOGOS used throughout that model!

Any help in colors would be greatly appreciated.

I don't know about the "Wagoneer" one but the 360 V8 on my 72 truck has a white background and the AMC emblem on the tailgate and the Jeep/AMC logo on the speaker grill is red/white/blue.

Ah yes, a 72 cusp year. AMC was using all the left over emblems from the earlier rigs. The emblems should all have a chrome finish and the "360 V8" and AMC emblem should be as -joe described.
