STS are supposed to wear down pretty fast very soft compound. I think you might want to go with another one.

I am looking at the STS all terrain radial myself. I went to 4 Wheel parts and talked to them. The said the noise was not bad but they are a soft compound and didn't reccomend them for a daily driver. They said you could only expect about 20,000 to 25,000 miles out of them.

My boss has 39" STS bias plys on his Avalanche and they have weared great. Its a daily driver and logs about 100 miles a day. They been on there since July and they still look pretty new.
