Rode with some Local jeepers in the Nat'l Forest around here. Lots of sand and clay, no rocks. Pretty tame, but managed to have a little fun, and some others will have better pictures of my Jeep that I'll post up later. I ended up putting more dents on the body and breaking the pass. front spring shackle. Here are the few pics I took before deciding to dip out..didn't want that shackle to rip anymore!

Disadvantage to riding with small Jeeps..Got into a place where I couldn't back up with out tipping, had to ride the dang tree.

My nice worn out front spring

And the shackle..I think it happened when I was flexing out in a ravine. Worn out spring, not anymore flex in it. Forced more pressure on the shackle.

I'll post some more up from the other people when I get them.

If that's a "little" damage, what's a LOT??!!!

Get some J20 shackles, they are heavier... and only follow the lil guys through the trees after they've followed you through the mud. :D

I think the damage he did at ECI that lead to the chop top would e considered a LOT...at least to folks like me.

I consider a LOT to be significant damage that takes more than 30 minutes to fix. I've broken 4 rear axle shafts, a detroit locker (twice), fan through the radiator, Tcase yokes, and tipped it on it's side. Also..this

I use shackles from the rear of a Burb or Ford truck..Little more length. As far as Mud..the guys around here build their trucks for mud. I hate mud and they probably go places that I wouldn't be able to follow them through!

Ha, Yeah..I consider that to be the most damaging..Money wise, time wise, looks wise..well every angle ;)

The ledge up ahead..I was up on top of that, started backing down to get a better line, welded front end/no hydro assist, thought my tires were turning when they weren't..plop. In the picture it looks like I'm pretty far back from the ledge, I guess I slid?

And Steve... Thanks for bringing that up. Hopefully this isn't another 2 year streak..it's been 2-3 years before today. You don't have anymore body panels to damage ;)

I didn't notice the chop top. I see it in the other pics, now. Thanks. I guess that was really just a "little" damage. :p

Couldn't help it! It was the first thing that came to my mind when I saw the pics. May not have the sheetmetal anymore, but tubing will bend as well.

I'm just jealous because I haven't wheeled since dad broke frank at MSORP.

Is that in Osceola or Ocala? Me and my wife went camping at Osceola a couple of weeks ago.

What'd he break? We're going to have to go wheelin' sometime when we both have our stuff ready/fixed, been awhile!

Just ask the baby jeeps to follow you up a steep hill. 95" wheel bases suck at hill climbing :P

He broke an upper link on Pass side at the frame. Gotta pull the motor to fix it.
