Quick and easy way to get pitman off!!!!!

If your going to a drop pitman and dont care about ruining the old one, cut it off! I used my angle grinder and a thin wheel. Took less than a minute to cut. I just cut parallel with the shaft, until I was close to hitting shaft. Then I tapped it with a chisel and it popped right open like a clam. No heat, no banging or pullers. Turned what I thought might be a pita, into a simple, 1 minute job. Dennis
