Hi all!
I've read and enjoyed this site for a few years now and the info here has been very helpful, thanks so much. I have a 1983 J10 with a 258 6 cyl. 727 auto and NP208 TC. I'm the third owner, worked with the previous
owner and the original owner was my neighbor. I've known the truck since
it was new and brought home from dealer. I have had it since 1992 and it has not been a daily driver since I moved back to Pennsylvania in 1993 from North Carolina and saw what the rust belt did to FSJ's.
I know that I'll have many questions as I try to find replacement parts
and need other info.

Very Nice rig you have there.

I got tired of trying to wax chaulky tired paint. It was repainted it 1996 original colors but not original scheme. No rust or rot was on it when repainted, but some starting on right rear quarter behind the wheel in the seam (darn seam!) none anywhere else. I have been thinking about having it completly stripped down and repainted back to stock paint scheme, slate blue below the door lock down.

I like salt on my fries, not on my J truck.:D

Showoff!! with your bright, shiney, fresh paint, rust free body, tonneu cover, nice wheels. I bet your gas gauge even works all the way up to "full" too huh?
At least mine has a brow!! Nah nha. :p
