center consoles

alright ive seen them before on beautifully restored grand wagoneers, so i was wondering where i could get a center console for my grand wagoneer to replace the arm rest, i know i can probably get an after market for a cj/yj but they dont have one in maroon, anyone have any ideas? also thought about building one but it wouldnt be anywhere near as good looking as the ones ive seen

Factory GMC/Chevy center console from '92-'94 Suburban. Trucks have them too, '88-'94. It's a snug fit, but works very well and is a bit taller than the armrest for more comfortable posture while driving.
I used the stock mounting hardware from the factory armrest. You should be able to find it in a burgundy (dark red) color. Total investment=$10

If you do the Super Wag center console... I don't believe if fits with the later style underdash AC unit. I could be mistaken, maybe it only doesn't fit if the OEM clock is mounted on it....

It wont fit with the oem clock unless you move the controls. But if you dont have the clock its a great fit. The walmart clutter catcher is also a good fit!

Four bolts to install, drill through the floor, super easy. I also have one that I dyed and installed in my Cherokee.
