Question about Tranny

It has started to not go all the way into park.

It started out that the tranny mount gave out and it was resting on the metal frame. I was getting a viberation, so I changed it out. Before I changed it out I noticed that it would not go fully into park

When I put it into P there is some tension(not a free roll like that of N)but not enough to keep it from rolling. This all started when the mount came out.

Could it just be the linkage out of adjustment and it is not engageing Park all the way?

it seems to me to be the linkage. Probably needs adjustment.

John, what was the shop in Auburn that rebuilt your tranny?

Joe. It was Metro Transmission 334 745 6305
It was right down past the mail heading toward Opelika on the right.

It was a flat 550.00 That was for the heavy duty clutc, removal and installation, it also included a new TC. Every thing was great with the service, the only problem is that I have had a broken tranny mount and that has given me some trouble, but they told me to fix it and I said I will do it later.

sheeesh. $550.0 including removal and install, with a TC??? $1,200.00 here in Denver!! I could afford to take a vacation there and still save money!!

$550.00 is the RIGHT price, IMVHO.
