What's a CTO? and others of your favorite acronyms.
I'd never heard a distributor called a dizzy until I got on this board. I'm sure there are others.
I remember an old timer I used to sell parts to who always called drive shafts propeller shafts since that was what they called them back in the 40's when he went to school.
So many acronyms, so few brain cells.

coolant temperature override. the various colored plastic pieces that are screwed into the intake manifold. they have vaccum hoses connected to them and perform various duties.

Don S has a whole directory of em, look for one of his posts and he has the link in his sig. I was over on that side of the mountains last weekend for my sisters graduation from Mesa State, I wish I woulda let you know, we could have gone out to 27 1/4 road and tore up the book cliffs!
