I just heard back from vendors I have emailed about getting new headlight sockets for my 63 j300. The sockets I am looking for are the ones that plug directly from the wires into a socket that connects to the 3 prongs on the back of the lamp. Come to find out they are not available from any vendors I have tired or any auto parts store. My old ones are brittle and as I am rewiring my fsj this is the perfect opportunity to replace them. Is there an updated socket that is available that if I bought new lamps would fit, one lamp is bad anyway so it would be a good time to replace it with something newer that is available. Anyone have an idea?
