Ok I finally got around to cleaning out my tank for I could cut it. Well I washed it and then flashed it like my dad said. well apparently it had a lot more fumes then I expected so now the tank is much more bulbous.

So I need options. Should I build me a new tank out of steel? Should I just buy a fuel cell? or any other ideas is appreciated.

Oops. Glad you're around to still post on this forum, however.

If you need to modify your tank anyway, you might be better off (and safer!) with a custom tank.

LUCKY DOG!!!

i bet that was a rush!!

that depends on what you want out of your tank. do you want more range? less weight? where do you want to mount it?
if you want range you can use a suburban or blazer tank. those are way cheep from a junkyard and can be put under your rig.

yeah. that was a rush. after I did that my dad said, I had a tank take off like a rocket one time. Oh yeah. thanks for telling me now.

the tank I was working on was a custom that me and my dad built like 10 years ago. it was 35 gallons. now its probably 40. ha.

I'm thinking I dont need that many gallons, so I was thinking that 20 gallons would be plenty. I need it to go where the spare tire was. or maybe a fuel cell can go in the back.

I used the S-10 tank in the rear with the factory straps. Jc whinney. Works great I think it was 19 gallons.
