Hey guys,
I am working on the Emergency drive switch on my QT. The hoses come thru the firewall and quit. The previous owner or time has disconnected them from their appropriate connections. I have 3 lines- one with a white trace, one with a red trace and one plain. I see a group of lines comming up from the Transmission area but only 2 connections. Can any body tell me what goes where?
I understand a light comes on when the QT is engaged. Where is the power for that light? I have looked in my Chilton book but no avail. I don't know anyone in my area with a QT that I could go compare to. Any help would be GREATLY appreciated.

There should be a manifold vacuum reservoir in the eng bay. On my 73 it was a round plastic baseball size thingie mounted to the firewall.

I found the vac. res. but all connections are taken. Do I put a "T" in a lin? Is there a certain amount of vac this thing needs?
Do you have a diagram of vac routing for 79 wag w/360? I see lots of posts for vac diagrams. My book has 75 then 80 nothing in between.

Thanks

Not to be too awfully redundant <g>, could I get the vac diagram as well?
Seems the salesman said the 4 wheel drive works, but of course it does ..... only he didn't mention the QT was offline. Same scenario, I've got the Danglin' Vacuum Hose Blues!

the best,
