Never seen one before in accessory catalog:

The headache part is the feeling you get after tossing a hunk of cordwood through the rear plate window :banghead:

Yea I paid him the 150 he wanted.
It's made to work in conjunction with the sliding rear window.
We call sliding rear windows, "beer windows" in TX, so U can reach the cooler in the bed.
I dunno what I'm going to do with it, I have tool box.

Make a small door hatch in the toolbox lid you can reach from the slider.

At first it looked kinda crude, then I looked at how the ends are tapered and that took some skill.
Plus U can tell something that was made in a factory on jig, and something fabbed by individual.
Dang thing is heavy, probably be a decent roll bar.
Give's the J-Truck the working man's truck look.
Be handy for hauling ladders, pipe, long items....

hmmm...will that fit on a thriftside bed? If those tabs on the bottom line up with the stake pockets and could have square tubes attached I might be interested if you're coming out to Ouray..

Well don't have to turn tool box into a keg-a-rator..... although that would be a big hit at Ouray campfire.
Traded it off. :)

Rack wouldn't fit a thriftside anyway...LOL.
Funny, when I bought the Gladiator in 12-2007 I looked at it and said, ah... I'll have ready for sure by July 2007 just in time for Ouray.
Well I underestimated how complicated they were compared to a CJ.
It won't be ready 7-09. :o
Guess 7-10 needs to be a realistic goal.
Looking forward to seeing that beautiful country again.

Not doubting, maybe a pic of it in place on a rig would have presented it better...

I was thinking the stake pockets may be the same width at the openings..
Yeah I am hoping to have mine 'done' by this year, but yours is at a totally different plane of existence. I am sure the wait will be worth it!!
Move here, you can see CO every day
