I love my Suburban! It keeps bringing things home for me to adopt!

The latest victim. '77 J-10 360/T-18/D20, flat top 4.09 D44s right now.

It's getting D60s f/r to make it a J-30. ;)

Wonder what's up with the sagging rear? 6" front springs and no lift in the rear. Plus this little bonus in the bed...

I'm going to put new gaskets on the 401 and run it. Axles and suspension first. If all goes well I can get the engine in before ECI. The rest will be finished in a couple of weeks.

Is the bed-mounted 401 a dealer installed option, or???? ( :hide: ) LOL.

I think I need a 'burban to start hauling neat stuff home.

It's running condition is completely unkown so for now just a check up and new gaskets. I'm going to run it 'till it pukes, then build it right one time.

It will stay with the truck. I'm building this truck to work out of on work days at URE and Tellico. Hauling junk around town and for my carpentry business.

I've read that somewhere. :) I meant into, because my wife is going to treat me like a projectile when she sees it and especially the windshield banner...

In some circles, I have heard those 401s are over rated. :p
