All I can say is whew.... The problem I had discussed earlier thinking I had a stuck valve turned out to be a burnt intake valve instead. #7 cylinder to be exact. Rest of the valves look great; pushrods clear; cylinder walls are clean as a whistle with no scratches and barely a ridge at tdc. If any of you out there suspect you have an intake manifold leak, get it fixed. My mechanic friend who helped me with the disassembly said that is why it that intake valve burnt- too lean. Now to pull the cam and get the edelbrock 4 bbl intake ready....
