Just bought it 3 weeks ago. Re-built carb, new plugs, fixed vacuum leak. Then ran much better. Got to enjoy the FSJ experience for 2 weeks. Went from running good to no spark within 30 minutes. Have checked so far.
1. Control module - OK
2- coil checks out OK
3- Magnetic pickup seems ok
4- Does it have resistor? if so were is it.
Comparisons were done against new parts.
Suggestions?
Thanks
ED
I had that happen to an old chevy once. Turned out the shaft inside the distributor snapped. The rotor was free spinning inside the distributor. Takes about 10 seconds to pop off the distributor cover to check.
Also, double check your wires. A second rate crimp job can cause you to lose your connection.

Cool. Glad to see it was a simple fix. I hate it when it's complicated.
