Saw in the Parade section that comes in our Sunday paper that Speaker of the House Nancy Pelosi used to drive a Grand Wagoneer ! Somebody wrote in asking what kind of car she drove and if she prefers American cars. The staff wouldn't comment on her current vehicle but said she used to drive a Waggy.

Maybe there's hope for a Democratically led House after all.....NAAAHHHH!!!

The points being made are... The 6.5 diesel is used in many military vehicles. Since the Limo is transported all over the world, all motor pool mechanics, will be familiar with the engine for repairs. The motor can also run on various forms of diesel fuel and jet fuel if needed.. again whatever would be available across the world. Last point made is that the engine doesn't have certain electronics.. therefore it would withstand an EMP hit (I'm not sure what that is). Its interesting stuff. AMGeneral still makes the 6.5 brand new. Its called the Optimizer.
