I have installed a new Edelbrock carburetor on my stock 1989 Grand Wagoneer 360. I have a Performer intake setting a top of the engine and a set of Doug Thorntly headers. Any advice as to jets and metering rods?.. It seems to have a slite hesitation and a rough idle compaired to the Holley 080457 that I removed. I thought the Edelbrock 1400 was a better choice.

Thanks for any help.

Get yourself a Carter AFB or Edelborck Strip Kit. It has a large assortment of rods, springs and jets. No real way to tell you what will work as I don't know your engine condition, altitude, general weather in your area. They are work different. Just get a kit and start playing.
