body lift ???

My friend is willing to do a body lift to my Jeep, actually he said the SOA wouldn't be a big deal for him, but I wanted to stay as cheap as I could. He will manufactur the lifts and all I would have to get is new longer bolts and bumpers. My Question is how how should I go before I would even have to consider buying more mod. stuff to make it work?

Probably want to keep it to 2 or 3 inches. There are some great write ups on how to do the body lift. You will have to move the radiator and make the TC linkage longer.

My radiator bolted into another set of stock holes, so there was not even any drilling req'd

We welded a little peice of metal in the TC linkage and the tranny linkage was readjusted without mods (on a 2" lift)

If your buddy will do it for free, go with the SOA :D
