Today was one of the more amazing day in my life!! Certainly the most amazing day this year(2009)!!
Someone gave me a FREE Specialized Allez Elite AND Gary Fisher Marlin. Both bikes were free!!!! If you do a little researching or know something about bikes, you will know those bikes are worth a lot of money.
I'm just amazed!! I don't know how to thank the guy. I just cannot believe it and I imagine that you cannot believe it either.
Now, I've a 1991 Dodge Ram and a 1990 Jeep Grand Wagoneer. Both of them are leaking anti-freeze. I was wondering if I should offer to give him one of those 2 vehicles free? You know just give him for free?
What do you think?

I've got a "Rare" 18 speed mountain bike that came from a "Rare" Wal-Mart that doesn't leak a "Rare" drop that I'll trade ya for the GW.

Does he need a leaking motorized vehicle? I mean, it is a nice jesture but if he has not need for it or real want of it, it would just sit or he would give it away or sale it. Sure you have thought about it, just asking.

Good question. I don't think he wants either vehicle. I just thought it may be a nice gesture to give it away for free.

I wouldn't give him either one unless he had showed interest in one of them. As mentioned above, he may not want a leaking rig in his driveway.

Sell the Ram and fix the d$#@ wag already :D
Yeah just pay it forward someday. I'd be happy to receive the Gary Fischer, I'd even stop smoking to ride it. :D

If it's a truly a gift a simple thank you will suffice. But if you feel the need to reciprocate then just find out if there's anything he could use some help on.Maybe a strong back to move some stuff around or whatever.Just let him know you'd be happy to lend a hand.I find that often a persons time and a little sweat is as much appreciated as an extravagant gift. When I was single I was walking down the street and there was a couple out shoveling their driveway(there was a huge snowstorm and the guy had to go to work). The girl kept running up to the window to check on their newborn.I wasn't really doing anything so I offered to shovel their driveway.A little time and a little sweat and I got hot cocoa and lifelong friends. This was 10 years ago, theyv'e since moved to North Carolina and are godparents to my son.(kinda surprised they didn't freak actually,i'm a big hispanic guy with a shaved head, tattoos and lots of scars)
