Just wondering if anyone knew how to take the window out of a 1970 Jeep Gladiator.

Both passenger and drivers side windows.

Easy, pull the door panel off, pull the clip that holds the bottom window lifter onto the regulator, loosen up the vent window back channel and then it should come right out with some wiggling, turn it sideways and bring it through the top of window opening.

nope, it is a little twisting practice w your hands around the various openings.
On a 70ish model, the glass is thicker, and the channel maynot accomodate the glass and the rubber gasket. I used the glass sealer,the silicone is a bit acidic and will accelerate the rusting of the channel. But if your windows were replaced in the 80's, it has the thinner glass, and your window are more likely to rattle, because the side channel are still for the thick glass.
