My J10 has the original bench seat in it, which I'd say has more or less put in it's time. Have any of you done a swap for either a bench out of a different vehicle or switched to buckets? I'd like to keep it so I can still have two passengers, not sure if there is a way to do this with buckets. Just looking for ideas or recommendations...

No I have not actually done this YET... .. .
My plan ->
I will be putting Corbeau Sport bucket seats in my J10.
Will be fabbing from the factory bucket seat floor mounts to Corbeau toyota sliders and then mounting the corbeau seats.
Corbeau makes nothing for the J or I beleive any of our vehicles, so its pretty much fabcity.

I am planning to use the mid-back buckets from a '99 Mustang in the Chero.

I put a 40/20/40 split seat out of a Dodge in my Gladiator...worked ok. It's a tight fit, but it works. I like having the arm rest/console but also be able to haul 3 in it if I want...

Thanks for the great ideas! I think I like the 40/20/40 idea... having a console would be nice.
