I got a call today from a guy selling some m715 parts. What have you folks paid for these things? Complete front clip and bed minus tailgate....

That really depends on the shape and who you are buying it from. Get lucky and buy a whole truck for $500...
If it's all clean the frt fenders maybe go for $150 each, bed maybe $200, figure from there. You can check out prices at www.m715zone.com (http://www.m715zone.com) if you are registered so you can view the classifieds there.

Thanks Elliot...
Do you have the measurements on the M715 bed? I'd want to mount it on a J20 long bed frame streatched for a crewcab build. Where would the rear axle be located with that set up in realtion to the M715 bed? Sence I'm streatching the frame I have alot of options for setting it up. I'm thinking it would be easyest to put the bed over the axle on the frame and bob or lengthen the rear frame as required to fit then do the streatch for the crew cab.
That M715 bed should be shorter then the 8' J20 bed if I recal correctly. How's it's measurement from center of the wheel wels to the rear compare to the standard J20 bed?

Center of wheel wells to tailgate ~3'10.5"
Let me know if you need anymore measurements.
