That baby's coming right along. My motor is a few weeks behind where you are right now.

Thanks. I was gonna say but,forgot to. When i took the intake manifold off there was no gasket at all. Only RTV gasket around all the ports. Has anyone ever seen that? I mean it did work i didn't have any leaks for the time i was driving on the motor.

RTV only is the "redneck gasket in a tube". There should be either a thin steel valley pan gasket which I believe is stock or fel-pro type standard gaskets. RTV around the water jacket ports and along the manifold ends in place of the rubber strips.
