Like I don't have enuff to do as it is, my gauges are now working and my wag is running a touch warm so... $chaching$ my new 4 core radiator will be in this afternoon. It wasn't running terribly hot but better safe than sorry. I'm also gonna run some of that water wetter kinda stuff in it also. I swear thats the last thing Im doing before I put it on the trailer, had to put a new brake master cylinder on sunday  !
Dropped it off yesterday to have brake lines flushed out and bleed, well they called, booster is shot! parts will be in tomorrow so along with the radiator to put in looks like tomorrow night is gonna be a long one

I'm curious what effects the Colorado altitude will have on things like the cooling system, brakes, and other fluids.

As an ex-resident of Pitkin County Colorado (about 7,500 ft.) you will find that your truck will run very RICH. Figures since you've got about 30% less oxygen at that level. Also affected is that your horsepower will suffer big time. Many motorists without compensating fuel injection (most of us) can experience starting trouble and FLOODING.
You will also get a mighty buzz off of 1-2 drinks on your first night or two.
Also do stop at the farmers fruit stands around the state and Hwy. 550 for some of the best high altitude apples and cherries you ever ate.
