For those that have laid the bed liner down on the inside of your Jeeps, what ratio did you use to mix the stuff with the xylene? Is it really all the necessary to thin it wit the xylene? i just made my grinder into a sander so time providing im gonna put in in this weekend...

I used Herculiner straight out of the can.
PS: Wear some disposable gloves, that stuff is tough!

Just roll it on. No need to thin it. Be sure you use it in a well ventilated area. :D

LOL...I'm not kidding. Most of the off the shelf bed liners are vinyl based and contain a lot of MEK and xylene. You can get higher than a kite in short order. :D Gives you a whole new perspective on what should be painted.

Retro93,I used to paint aircraft and aircraft parts, so i know what ya mean.even with the bunny suits or full face respirator(thats what ill be wearin this job too)you gotta watch your exsposure....nothin like MEK and Polyurethane Primer early in the morning...for 12 days smile.gif
I especially got a kick when the "guys" thought it would be funny to duct tape me to a box of hazardous waste and then after my timely escape duct tape me some more for prompt delivery to the bosses office. :D On top of that they shoved me in a locker a week later...gotta love it smile.gif
