I thought I saw something relating to the interchangeability of CJ (or another wrangler) bushings w/ the G Wag. I am interested in prothane type replacements. Anybody made the Switch?

Also because I realy need to kick a dead horse, which spring kit has the full length spring insert? I want to bolster my suspension but not go crazy. I think 2.5-3.0 inches would be great.

Anybody recommend shocks?

I drive primarily on road but will go on a trail for any good... well any reason. I am willing to sacrifice some ride, after all if I wanted a cushy driving experience I would of bought a lincoln.

Thanks in advance.

I recently installed the Rough Country/Heckethorn AAL and used the Nitro 9000 shocks. I gained a 2 1/4" lift over the stock springs.

The front spring is full lenght and is placed directly below the leaf that is attached to the truck.

The rear leaf is short and is placed as the last leaf in the spring pack.

The whole kit cost me about $ 211.00 delivered to the door from J.C. Whitney.

I can send or post a picture if you want one. I have my digital camera and it will be no big job to take a couple of pictures for you.

Good Luck!

When I puchased a Skyjacker 4" lift the P.O. had cj part numbers for the bushing kits.(CJ was in the description)

Thanks. Good camera work, electronic toys are fun. Frame looks fairly good gor a NJ vehicle. Nice Rig. How do the suspension changes drive?

CJ bushings (especially leaf spring mounts) are interchangeable with GW. That'll help It may give me ammo for when I decide to order parts and they try to hook me up with whatever isn't moving off the shelves fast enough.

Appreciate your input

Thanks
Dave.

Did you assemble the kit yourself? I didn't see a kit with AAL's front and rear. I just got the latest catalog. Money's good how does it ride?
