I have two carriers that I was keeping to put bigger gears on but now I can't cross-reference any of the numbers. One I pulled myself out of a junkyard 44 in a 70's Chevy truck front and the other was given to me with the lunchbox it had vehicle unknown.

The #'s I have from the carrier are:

C314423XA
C31434A7X

I think it's a C and the A has kindof a circle around it.

ring#'s
9 19 77 DANA 18679 33N75 50 11
4 29 74 DANA 18515 A3D16 41 11

Any help will be greatly appreciated.
Thanks

Argh so I guess I only have one carrier that I want unless I go for thick gears....
Thanks for the replys.

As far as both being from a D44 they should fit in all steel 44's right ?

Yep, just make sure the spider gears & shafts are the same spline count.
