Know how to set up a steering box?

I recently rebuilt my steering box. I went to turn the pitman shaft and it froze. It won't budge. I've screwed around with the Allen screw on top of the case but it didn't help.
If anyone can help me set it up I'd be most grateful!

Did you set the preload on the thrust bearing? The only way I know how to set it is to count the number of turns it take to remove it and upon re-assembly.... count and match the number. This is the top of the box that has the locking ring.

I messed up a saginaw box this way....you may have it WAY too tight. I can't remember... but I think there is a in.lbs spec for the thrust washer and lockring.
