over thanksgiving i swapped out the bad 360 in my 90 gw so this month i ordered the thorley headers, the exhaust sytem, new edelbrock intake, and other small parts. so i spent double in parts then the 1k purchase price anybody else on their christmas card list? lol

I really want the exhaust system for the '80 but I don't know if I am going to pull the trigger on it. That would equal the price of the motor & jeep ( or darn near it.) I'm not saying it isn't worth it, but that money would buy a D60 front for the '79...descizzions descizzions.

yeah, but the exhaust sounds cool every time you start the truck....the axle is only cool when you have it off-road ;)

And yes, I have a D60 in one of my rigs and understand your dilemma :)

The excitement of having a dana 60 front doesn't last long. I could have had my 63 running/driving and stopping for what I have into my 60 swap.

I don't regret it though. It IS cool to look under the truck and see that massive hunnk or iron under there.

between bjs zm jeeps n bulltear santa said i was very good boy lol now if i can just talk baby new year into a carb, lift gears, lockers, bumpers, and aluminum radiator id have running jeep lol
