Just thought I 'd pass on some real world observations. Finally, snow arrived here in Portland, Or. News & people panicing over 2" of snow. Now it's ice. Forgotten how well the Q-trac works on ice covered streets. Went to an empty parking lot to check things out. I had to work at losing control. Even braking was great. Truck didn't slide sideways. It just slowly stopped like I had ABS. Braking speed was between 20 & 25 mph. However, good tires helped a lot.

my jeep loved the snow last year, towed my s-10 threw the hills of vermont, and the only problem i had was the front driver side brake was locking.

I remember a week after getting my 79 CHerokee with a QT, we went to Mt Rainier and it was deep snow and ice and that thing did really, really well. Gotta love the AWD...
