Brought this home a couple weeks ago, just got it off the trailer today due to constant snow here. I got this from gozer100 out of Indiana, pretty nice truck I must say! I kind of prefer a more stock look. Thinking about putting a set of stock bumpers I have on it as well as a stock roof rack. No plans to take it off road, will be a driver for my wife or me.

It looks great. You can just send that bumper and rack over my way when you take them off

Nice!
As much as I like the wood grain, the more I see without it, the more I like it!

I agree, I'm really liking the look of the naked waggy....I believe that'll be what mine will look like...

Beautiful Jeep. Would love to see it with stock bumpers and rack, along with grey spoke GW wheels to match the body.

I was contemplating making it a woody. My wife really likes the look of the wood, until, of course, she finds out what it will cost!

Agreed. That paint just about matches the gray paint between the spokes on the late model turbines.

It's actually a Cherokee, not sure what the difference is. It's got a razor grill upgrade obviously. Hey Incommando, how's things with the green machine? Keep me posted!

Hey Brett: Gotta find time to get to Toledo to pick up the 360, and then it is 360/727/208 time. Still thinking of it being the tow vehicle for the '79 after I chop that one.
Thanks for asking.

As far as the wheels, I agree with you guys, so does my wife. Already have a set from an '85 Grand Wag. Planning on going down to 33" tires as well. The 35s look nice but not very user friendly. Can I run 33s on those stock turbine wheels? I've seen a few posts for and against.

Good looking Jeep!
Do you have any idea what lift is on that truck?I would like to run 35's on my goldy j10 but not sure exactly what lift to go with. Not gonna see any reel extreme off road...if that helps.I like a little space between my tires and fenders and yours looks really nice

I never said what it is did I? It's a 1980 Cherokee. The guy I got it from said it had 4" suspension and 2" body lift, but the body blocks look bigger than that to me. The 360 was freshened up, Doug Thorley headers, 727 trans with shift kit and still running the 219, which for what I plan to use it for should hold up I hope.

Nice, if you don't need a roof rack just swap the bumper and leave rack off. My '87 is no wood, no rack and it makes it just a little different. Takes a moment for people to realize what's not on it.

Nice truck...
If you were not so far away, I'd offer a nice 3 piece bumper for the front.....
