OK my FSJ Familia! It starts tomorrow 10 am in Goose Creek, SC. The 4" lift will begin. Got all the parts got all the bodies and got a nice garage to stay warm. I will post pics of the before - during and after transformation. Lets hope the Jeep gods shine down and all goes smoothly. We are allowing (6) hours. Tires come next week.

You better have plenty of beer to kill the afternoon... I've installed 4" lifts by myself in the driveway in half that time..

You must've been working on new vehicles or those rare FSJ's without RUST! :D

The FSJ Gods always smile on us when we make improvments on these old iron beasts.

I know the thread is worthless without pics, sooooo here you go! Hit a few snags but all is good. Shock theory we had was incorrect so I guess I will order a set of them this week. We thought according to Bilstein you could run K5 blazer shocks on it but that is not true. Maybe mid 80's F250 FORD will work but unsure. If I research it today and find that to be untrue I will order a set of the ES-9000's and put them on next weekend before I start moving and lose my garage. Ohhh did I mention Im sore as all get out today!!

Well I have been trying for 30 minutes to upload the pics and it gives me an error everytime so who knows. I will try later I guess. Here is a direct link to the pics.

Rust is generally a non-issue for me on a 4" lift... There are not that many bolts to remove. Ive had a little trouble with a shock or two, but thats about it...

I dont mess with U-bolts... 30 seconds with the cutt-off wheels ALWAYS takes care of them...
