Everytime the front springs compress, the drag link right at the pitman arm hits the tie rod, and it is getting worse all the time > http://www.ifsja.org/ubb/frown.gif DOes anybody else have this problem? and how do I remedy it?

some of the tie rods came with a 'kink' in them that stopped this from happenning....mine does it too and I have heard others have the same problem......I took a grinder to the back of mine to add a little clearance

What part did you grind, the draglink end or the tierod? I too have the little bend to clear the pitman arm, it looks like the dropped pitman arm is just to long.

Grind the main tierod a little ... not too much...may weaken it. My 4" drop pitman did the same thing on my 4" Skyjacker I just took it off the main tierod... only about 1/4" of a 'V' groove for clearance. You can always weld some anlge iron on the back side of the main rod for more strength.
