I put a clear Spectre fuel filter inline just before the fuel pump, to see the condition of my gas. Checker didn't have a clear one with the extra return line, or the right Ts so I could just replace the original and T in the return line. This is OK, right? It wouldn't make the pump work too much, would it?

Casey, I run an inline filter before the pump and at the carb, little different setup on the Buick 350 but never noticed a difference except the one before the pump is the one that gets changed more often.

So the pump probably gets a little nicer (longer) life having another filter before it.
