The chrome around my rear window looks like crap. Anybody know where I can replace it? I'm not talking about the three piece chrome trim, but the flexible stuff that frames the rear window.

Have you tried the dealer?

I haven't tried the dealer yet. It looks pretty generic, kind of like the stuff people put around their doors and wheel wells. I'm going to look at a couple stores today and will try the dealer if I have no luck. I was going to take one from the junkyard, but even the "good" ones weren't too great. It does look like the earlier waggies used real metal, as opposed to chromed plastic on mine.

For about $20 you can pick up some flexible chrome trim (20' roll) from an Auto Body and Paint Supply store. They have a lot of different shapes and styles. It has a tape backing already on it. I could not find the exact original, but close. Before installing it just warm it up real well on a sunbaked dashboard or something like that to be sure you can bend it to fit.

marcd,
My also wish to try a good full service auto glass shop. Many times they carry or can get just about everything for your auto glass needs.
Good Luck

Thanks guys. I checked out some the stuff you put on wheel wells. It would work in a pinch, but isn't quite right. I'll take your suggestions and try to find something closer.
