Okay People!..

IF I get the remanuf engine for my GW, I want to do something to the intake and carb and also the ignition.

I am looking for suggestions (as complete as possible) for the modifications of these items.

If you can help, it would be great.. because I need to try and have these parts available for these guys to put in the truck when they are doing the swap.

edelbrock intake (performer model) edelbrock carb 1406 i belive is the emmisions model amke sure you get the egr intake not sure of the part number but you only have two choices on that one plop in a performer camshaft and a msd ignition and you set for lift off you could get the in cab timing control but you can always add that later

I run an Edelbrock RB4, 600 cfm Holley, a cam with the same spec as the Edlebrock performer, the tfi upgrade, and dual exhaust. Whih the Holley's be sure to get one with side hung floats not the center hung floats and unless you find someone to set it up get a trick kit and put in the #34 squirters, the red pump cam set on #2, the large pump and the lightest secondary spring. My motor runs great and idles well, even when sitting on real steep inclines. I do need to adj my choke as it is set too light and makes the rig cold blooded.
