12 inch front drums variation

Trying to track down some info. It appears that some of the pre 73 trucks with the 5 lug dana 60 rears have 12 inch front brake hubs and drums. These appear to be 8 lug hubs and drums drilled out for 5 lugs. I need a hub and drum for my sons J4000 and since I can't order a new one does anyone know what year besides 72 they used this type of configuration? Thanks

Pretty sure the year range for this is 71-73.

When faced with the same issue, I put disks on the front and kept the best two drums for the rears.
