I currently have my 1991 Dodge Ram D150 on E Bay. If any one of you are interested in it and wants link to my auction, let me know.
What I'm trying to do is save up enough money to get an extended cab long bed pick up truck. It must have a bench seat in rear which the '91 Ram doesn't have. I want to be able to haul up like 8 or maybe 10 bikes at a time and also have room for my Rottweiler and my 45 lb Mutt. The back seat must be comfortable for the dogs.
I've been thinking that a Dodge Dakota extended cab truck with a 8 feet bed would be the best because of its gas mileage. I'm also interested in F150, Ram 1500, and/or Chevy 1500 trucks. That is what I was thinking or should I get a club wagon type of vehicle and just keep in one seat in rear and take out all other rear seat row.
I'm thinking that in a month or so I would be able to find a good vehicle for at least $2K or so. That is if I don't go for a 4 wheel drive. I've my 1990 Grand Wagoneer(HOORAY for FSJ!!) for winter so I don't really need a 4wd vehicle. A 2wd/rear wheel drive vehicle will be fine. If I wanted a 4wd, I would probably be looking into the $3-4K price range.
I'll buy now, but need to save first. Any opinions??
