I've been looking through the readers ride section and the Crewcab threads for some info on a J truck Brow roof line. What it looks like int eh photos I've seen is there is a slight rack from back to front. Is that true? I can't look my own rig over right now as I'm away from home. I'm considering doing a crewcab build and trying to figure out how to get that roofline worked out. My first idea was sticking two J truck roofs together one using teh brow and the other using teh rear cab section. I'm thinking now that if they are racked a bit as it looks that might not really work out. How was it Goldhammer did it? One J truck donated its brow and roof cut near the back of the cab and a piece was fabed to fill the gap right? That would leave it prety level at the back of the cab then racking slightly at the front half to the brow... Does that make any sence?

to me it looks like the back of cab is a little higher than the front.maby lees then a inch.maby split the cab in 2,then splice in the wag floor then fill the top in with desired sheet metel.thats what i was going to do,but my welding skills are less than average.note the j cab is about 3 '' taller than the wag.btw i knew a guy up in northpole named doug.pretty cool guy.
