Simple question, where is the best (easiest) place (Fuse block or elesewhere) to hook up the positive lead for a volt meter on a 77 Chero?
This is what the instructions say:
Connect a length of 18 gage wire to a location on the fuse box where the wire will receive power whenever the ignition key is in the start, on or accesory postion.

There are terminals around the perimeter of the fusebox for both switched and constant power taps. You can actually salvage some of the connectors from an older GM car or Jeep, as they used these to tap in for accessories. Tap in to the switched (or "ign") terminals for your voltmeter. You can even use ordinary female spade terminals, if you can't find the factory-style connectors.

Thats fine if you're hooking up an ampmeter, but he's hooking up a voltmeter. Just find a power source that comes on with the ignition, tap into it and ground the other side of the meter and you're done.
