I was just wondering what the differences between the two are? I have a chance to buy a '77 Cherokee. I currently have a complete plow setup from an '80 J10 would I be able to swap the plow set up onto the Cherokee with no problems. Thanks in advance for any info.

About 10"s :D
I'm not sure on the actual width but widetrack has wider axles then the narrow track.

I *think* the frames up front are identical regardless of w/t or n/t so I would guess the plow frames are the same.... then again, i could be wrong.

frames are the same. axles are wider, and the fender flares.

I have wider fender flares. Does this mean that I have a wide track then?

The differerances you need to worry about for the plow frame is not the NT vs. WT (frames are the same as stated for a given year) but the frames are not the same for a 1980 vs. 1977 the bumper frame horns differ between the single piece and three piece bumper FSJ's , not a big differance but it might make the mounting of the plow mount a non-bolt in affair, you might need to mod the mount or the frame some.

Also, front 1-piece bumpers are longer on WT's. Learned that the hard way.

The REAL Difference?
Narrow Tracks are cool, but with Wide Tracks, the cool factor jumps off the scale!

From 78 literature, WT on top, NT on bottom - both are Cherokees - the Wagoneer is the same foot print as the NT Cherokee whether it is 2 door or 4 door.
