well... here it is... what color would you guys go? going for a full frame-off resto, of course. I'm thinking of going RED again with the black stripes like my fathers... good or bad?

I'd leave it the factory colors. Black and gold is cool!

Your Fathers Cherokee was very sweet.. Colors were great on it..
Now do one in Brilliant Blue..;)

where do you keep finding these awesomely clean jeeps. I would be so happy to find one in that condition by itself. Another vote for stock.

I think the truck and Cherokee should be a matching set... either same colors, or reverse two tone of each other

This is just me, but if I was doing a frame off resto on that, it would be Sunshine Yellow with the indian pattern black and white side & tailgate stripes from TonkaJ200 and go without the big Chief trim. Is this the one with the Borg Warner Quadratrac?

What Flint said, but in Hemi Orange - or whatever AMC called the orange used on Chiefs. Bold and uncommon, just like the truck.
