I wanted you all to be the first to see the 12 Bolt H1 Xtream wheel
from Performance Cryogenics.
Some have voiced a concern about bending the flat centered
H1 wheels, however the actual occurrence is quite low, per Dean Reed
from Performance Cryogenics.
The modification involves the addition of gussets (6) from the center to
the rim. Dean now has pressed centers which will work better in cases involving a little more backspacing (3.75' or less). In my case I went with 3.5', so the gussets worked quite well. The flat plate centers will allow up to 5' backspacing per Dean.
I finished the center section in silver/clear powder coat and the outer round bar stock reinforced rings in satin black.
Next post I'll have some Swampers mounted with Dean's cage run flats.
