hey all,

I'm paul, 26 yrs old, work in NDT & I and just bought my first full size :)

I already own 2 YJ's

The full size is a '82 Cherokee LTD with 360/727 QT

needs a paint job and some TLC after 5 years in storage. I have heard it run so the engine sounds quite good.

Scrounging for parts is the worst here, have to order most of the stuff online.

Some Pics:

YJ 1 A 1989 2,5 on 31's and home brew trailer.

YJ 2 1992 4.0 with SPOA Waggy D44 and maxxis creepy crawler 37's

And the SJ:

I already found a Waggy bumper that I'll try to make fit. I also got some "normal" sized side mirrors.

needs a paint job and the tranny is slipping in Drive (will run in 1 & 2 tough)

Got some fab skills and some tools (TIG, MIG, tube bender etc. etc.)

Trying to make this a fun project :D

Nice looking fleet of Jeeps.

That looks like the Warn bumper on front, I'd keep it.

Welcome from New Jersey! That's a great looking Cherokee you have. Looks to be in better shape than most over here. I like the storage facility too.

Not very, there are some, this model (1982 Cherokee Ltd) only 4 or 5 in Holland, there are a little bit more wagoneers.

the local e-bay type pages only carry about 4 or 5 cherokee's and about 10 to 15 waggy's nationwide.

the newer models are more popular altough most people don't like them with gas @ $ 8,50 a gallon. :banghead:

@ Headhoncho, storage facility ain't mine but the seller's. I only have a 1 1/2 car garage.

I might need a transmission (727) since this one seems to be slipping. Gonna try to get some life out of it by changing oil & filter and adjust the bands. i'll let you know if i need it :D

I'm flying into Brussels early Sunday morning but I'm not sure a 727 will fit in my carry on luggage. :)

Welcome!

if you want to go for some beers in brussels during your visit, i'd be glad to take you around. you wouldn't by any chance have a spare m715 tailgate or other m715 parts you could take along???

we can go driving in the j10 if you want!!

let me know

Dan,
Can I take you up on that offer next Spring (say late April?). This trip is going to be short and brutal but I usually have more time on my Spring trip to Antwerp.

I don't have a spare tailgate but I'll be happy to raid my parts truck if you send me a list of what you need.
