1. You have to have the image in a web friendly format. Either .GIF or .JPG.

GIF - only used for low color photos or images, if its a drawing (black and white), this format would be best, resulting in a shorter download.

JPG - Used for high color photos and graphics. If you have scanned your drawing, usually your scanner will default to "JPG" or "TIFF".

To find out what format the file is, find it on your computer and right click the file and view its properties. You should be able to see what format the images is in.

2. After you have your image in a web friendly format. You need a place to "host" your image. Help me out guys, i'm not up on all the free host out there. List some for 88gw. Once you find a place, you up load your image and its now ready to be viewed by the entire planet.

3. To Display your image in this board, you will need the direct link aka "URL". Looks like this: http://www.freephotohosting.com/88gw/photos/myimage.jpg

You can usually get this URL quickly by right clicking on the image and choose "Copy Shortcut".

Once you get the direct link, you then come back to this board and surround your link with a "TAG". Here is how it looks.

For some reason the "CODE" tag will not let you show the UBB CODE with in its own tag. Oh well, just click here (http://www.ifsja.org/ubb/ubbcode.html) to see exactly how the "IMG" tag will look or just take out the "*" in the tags above.

The above ends up like this:

Hope this helps.
