RB and others, I installed the Chevy Suburban (95)rear shackles on the front springs of my Waggie on Saturday and they worked out great
I had a full length add-a-leaf added to each rear spring about 15 months ago for the rear sag. That left the rear about 3/4" to 1" higher than the front :( . The shackle in the front levelled it out nicely. I spent $35 for the shackles at a great, although pricey, yard in Wichita.
Maybe now I can use the whole tank of gas--it would show near empty and only take 15 gallons after the add-a-leaf. Even ran it out of fuel a couple of times and would only take about 17 gallons  .
Prior to the new leaf, I would add 15 when the gauge showed 1/4 left. I guess that's one way to increase range--use the whole fuel tank.
At any rate, thanks for the posts re: shackle lift. Although I don't post much, this board is a great part of my day every day  .
