How are youse guys venting your rear diffs? I've got a baby K&N on the front one, but for the life of me I cant think of any good place to stick the rear tube except for inside the Chero.
Suggestions??
Thanks

I suppose that depends on how deep you plan to go....
If you hit real deep mud, or do river crossings, the inside your Jeep is probably the best option....

What happens if you plug the axles vents just before doing a water crossing or deep mud? Wouldn't that suck mud/water through the seals or is it the other way around?
I was told it would pressurize the differential housing and prevent water from coming in.
I know the old military Jeeps had the fording kits. For an interesting read on this: http://www.cj3a.info/sibling/cjv35u/evolution.html

run the rubber hose to a metal line and run that the same way the fuel tank vent line is routed (into the engine bay), end it with some rubber and slap the filter on.

LOL yeah after they have been soaked in, um, HOT GEAR OIL.
Learned that on my XJ, long road trip myself and passenger both reeked of gear oil, course the gears ran hot anyway... Made the passenger smell better though, and NO it was not my wife...

that is a neat part, IIRC it is actually a Polaris 4 Wheeler part, might be cheaper if purchased that way.
