few ?s about '79 gw

Found a parts '79 gw parts rig for sale. Who knows if that had a D44 or AMC20 rear? Most likly gear ratio?

First in 79 they were still just wagoneers. They came with D44's and the most comon gear ratio was 3.54's. Hope this helps.

The other ratio was 3.07:1, which I thought was the more common one.

I don't know which ratio was really more common but the 3.54's were standard equip and the 3.07's optional in 79.

Think the 3.54s came with the tow package, and the rest of us got stuck with the 3.07s (for some reason I keep thinking its 3.09...)
