Honey....I kinda bought another Jeep....

Nothing like the look on the Wifes face when I bring another one home. It goes from :eek: to :mad: then to:rolleyes: . At least she puts up with me, right? :D I made the deal today on the 82 Cherokee W/T. It's got a strong 360 with a 4 speed tranny. Runs out great on the road and rides like a champ. Theres a few things needing attention like drivers side door latch, fuel guage, carpet, and squeaky alternator but other than that it's road ready! Here's the pics I took last week when I first saw it. It will be the first of next week before I get time to throw a good wash and polish on it. I'm doing flips now that I have a FSJ with a foe in da flo. :drivin: :D

Cool it is great to see you have another chance to do your work on another FSJ
. If I were to bring home another FSJ or any other vehicle for that matter my wife would have my head. She says 4 cars is enough. But she just doesnt know that I haven't found the right deal yet. Good luck with the new W/T.

lol The 83 Cherokee has that title...but Chromeanator III title is available...hhmmmm. :D I've already decided on the colors for this one. I've always admired the look of Heimekens GW and thought it would be cool to do a 2 door version. The part that's gonna shock the world....Yellow with black trim NO CHROME! :eek: Hats off to Heimenken for building an awesome Jeep.

Have you seen the stock market lately? Tell the wife that another FSJ in the fleet is a smart investment in todays economic environment. It might even appreciate! When everything goes Madmax Beyond Thunderdome in a few months, FSJ to the rescue man!

Great score! I think you must have had your eye on that before you sold the wag though. You just don't seem the YJ type! I bet it has the T176(7?) tranny or somebody must have swapped in a T18. I can't wait to see how it turns out!

Nope, buddy of mine has a shop that alot of dealership mechanics hang out at. One guy was telling about a 87 GW that he bought to pull the motor from to put into a CJ-7. My buddy asked what he planned to do with the rest and the guy said he was gonna scrap it. So after my phone number was tossed around I got the call and did the deal on the 87. When we were unloading the 87 the guy told me about the Cherokee so another phone call was made and now it sits in my driveway. I tell my wife it's kinda like playing connect the dots but instead of dots I'm playing with Jeeps.
