Where does this brown resistor wire go, come from and do?

It's tied around the AC hose near the compresor and goes up into the harness. I would like to hook it up to something since it's there all ready. I hate loose wires.

Any ideas? TIA

I checked mine, but it doesn't have the wire.
Your Wagoneer has a mystery bracket and now a mystery wire. Hmm, gee Scoob- Does he own the "Mystery Machine"? http://www.ifsja.org/ubb/biggrin.gif

Is it the temp sending unit wire? Brown with plastic elbow fitting at the end?

Ok so what the heck is he talking about you might be asking yourself right now since you didn't give me a answer to my posted question. Check out my sig. Notice the change?

You have named my rig(hope nobody has dibs on it). Anyway which IFSJA Sticker do u like cuz I'm jetting u one for helping me out. Email me with your snail-mail address and i'll ship it right to ya. Thanks a bunch.

Ok so the wire thing still continues. It is about 14-16 gauge single stran wire covered with a thick rubbery brown jacket. Any more takers? TIA

Well, one way to test it is to take a lead wire and connect that loose end first to the positive battery terminal, wait and see what happens, then to the negative battery terminal. Whichever one works best, or conversely, causes the least havoc, that would be the best place to permanently solder that loose wire.

P.S. I'm waiting for my free IFSJA sticker...
